How do I find out more about joining the ADVICE project?
Participation in the ADVICE project is open to all arts organisations that sell tickets, gathering audience data in the process. To find out more, contact the ADVICE project manager, Merryn Carter.
What happens when I join the project?
If your ticketing system is compatible with Vital Statistics, your local ADVICE team project manager will install a small application on your box office server. This application, the Daily Data Extractor (DDX), will upload your customer and transaction data to the Vital Statistics server overnight, into the ADVICE project database for regional and national reporting.
Each participating organisation has access to their own Vital Statistics account, where they can use simple push button reports to analyse customer and event information for their own venue.
What is Purple Seven’s role?
ADVICE project managers will provide full familiarisation training for project participants.
Will I be trained on how to use Vital Statistics?
Purple Seven supplies the application, Vital Statistics, that makes it possible to bring data together from any number of ticketing databases into a single entity.
